Energizer Power Max P18K Pop debuts with 18,000mAh battery and pop-up selfie camera

Avenir Telecom, the company pushing the Energizer brand is gearing up to unleash as many as 26 smartphones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019. While the firm mostly concentrated on entry-level and midrange segment smartphones is now entering into the premium segment by its new Power Max P18K with an ultimate stunning feature that sports a dual pop- up cameras and a huge 18,000mAh battery. Wait you read what?   18,000 !!!

The Energizer claims that Power Max P18K is the world’s first smartphone to come with a whopping 18,000mAh battery. As the name implies P18K that is its power efficiency it’s beating the P16K Pro by an iPhone 8 battery. The smartphone is designed for those who want to go on extended trips without losing out on their apps or carry a power bank around at all times. The Power Max P18k promises of up to four days of non-stop music playback, two days of video playback, and up to 50 days of standby, something seen only with feature phones.

Interestingly this phone can also be carried as a power bank to charge other smartphones. he phone relies on an 18W fast charger with USB Power Delivery 2.0 to refill that massive battery. The key features of the smartphone are powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 processor. It got two pop cameras and triple rear camera setup. The Energizer Power MaX P18K will officially unveil at MWC 2019 along with its 25 smartphones.

For specs, The smartphone will boast a total of five cameras two on front and three at back. The term Pop refers to the pop-up selfie camera and the P18K has dual camera system comprising of a 16-megapixel shooter and a 2-megapixel shooter. At the back, there are three more cameras with 12-megapixel, 5-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. In the range of Premium smartphone, it is hame it doesn’t support 4K video. The smartphone features a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display. The device is armed by MediaTek Helio P70 processor coupled by 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage and support for expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

In terms of connectivity, The smartphone includes a USB Type-C port for charging, lacks 3.5mm headphone jack and runs Android 9 Pie.
