At the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 launch event held this week, Epic Games announced the availability of its much popular, Fortnite game for Android. Epic Games have released the first beta of the Fortnite game which is not only announced for Galaxy Note 9. The Fortnite will be rolled out to several high-end phones including Samsung Galaxy smartphones such as the S7, S8, Note 8, Tab S4 and other brands phones including the OnePlus 6, Google Pixel 2, Asus ROG Phone, Nokia 8, and the Razer Phone.

As the game is not released in the Google Play Store because of the 30 percent ‘store tax’, the Fortnite will be available for download on the official website only. However, to get the Fortnite Android Beta to invite, users will have to visit the Fortnite’s official website, where they need to sign up for an account. After signing up, if your device is eligible, then Epic Games will then send you an e-mail with the download link for the game. The e-mail will be sent in phases, so you might have to wait a bit till you are able to play the game.

Still, there is no clear information on invite option for iOS users whether the iOS players will be able to send invites to their friends or not.

After downloading the Apk file of the Fortnite, while installing the apk Android users will get a popup saying ‘Installation Blocked’. So, you need to click on privacy settings in the Security tab to allow app installations from unknown sources. Now you can easily install the downloaded Fortnite Apk.

As we mentioned earlier, the developer Epic Games confirmed that the game will not be coming to the Google Play Store for Android users. So when you search for Fortnite on Play Store, a message appears on the Play Store that states that Fortnite Battle Royal by Epic Games, Inc is not available on Google Play.
