Gionee M12 announced with quad rear cameras, 5,100mAh battery

Chinese smartphone maker Gionee has unveiled a new smartphone called Gionee M12 in the Nigerian market. The Gionee M12 is available for grabs in Nigeria and retails at NGN 75,000 (approx. Rs 14,500) for the Helio P22 version while the MediaTek Helio A25 variant costs NGN 69,000 (approx. Rs 13,300). Dazzling Black and Magic Green are two color options for the phone.

The phone flaunts a 6.55-inch display with HD+ resolution and a left-aligned punch hole for the 16-megapixel (f/2.0) selfie snapper. The display has a screen resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio. Powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P22/Helio A25 processor, the phone packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

Moving around to the back, we have a quad camera setup comprising a 48-megapixel primary lens with f/1.79 aperture, 5-megapixel 115-degree ultra-wide lens, and two 2-megapixel sensors.

We have a huge 5,100mAh battery with 10W fast-charging technology. The phone comes with Android 10 OS out of the box. Other features include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C, and 3.5mm audio jack.
