Honor 8A Pro with Helio P35 SoC Goes Official: Specifications, Features and Price

After launching the Huawei P30 Pro and P30 Lite in India recently, the Chinese smartphone maker, Huawei has now announced a new device under its sub-brand Honor called Honor 8A Pro in the Russia market. As is evident from the name of the device, it happens to be the different variant compared to the Honor Play 8A that was launched in January in China. The new launch comes packing highlighting features such as waterdrop style notched display and MediaTek Helio P35 chipset.

Honor 8A Pro Specifications

The Honor 8A Pro features an elongated 6-inch LCD panel and since it carries support for HD+ resolution of 720×1560 pixels, it produces an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core chipset is present under the hood of the Honor 8A Pro. The SoC is accompanied by 3 GB of RAM. The native storage that has been provided on the handset is 64 GB. It also features an external storage slot for adding a microSD card up to 512GB. The 3,020mAh battery powers the smartphone.

The waterdrop notch of the device houses a single 8-megapixel sensor. The rear side of the phone is flanked with LED enabled single camera of 13-megapixel with f/1.8.

The connectivity features include available on the Honor 8A Pro include 4 dual SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth and GPS. The device is pre-installed with Android 9.0 Pie and EMUI skin.

Talking about the pricing, the Honor 8A Pro launched in a single variant with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage and it comes with a price tag of RUB 13,990 (approx. Rs 14,700). The smartphone will go on sale starting April 12 in Europe. Although, there is no word on the India launch.
