Honor Play5 Vitality Edition launched with Dimensity 900 SoC

In China, Honor has officially launched the Play5 Vitality Edition. Honor Play5 Vitality Edition offers a display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor.

Honor Play5 Vitality Edition features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ LCD display with 2376 * 1080 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a screen-to-body ratio of 94.4 percent. The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also supports 2GB of virtual RAM.

The device features a triple-camera setup on the back, which includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The device comes with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chatting. 

Running on top of Android 11 is Magic UI 4.2. There is a 4,300mAh battery with fast charging support of 66W. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone features 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. A fingerprint sensor is mounted on the side for security.
