Honor V30 5G Smartphone Teased, to Launch Soon

Looks like Huawei’s Sub-brand Honor is in no mood to rest as the company teases a phone with 5G technology. Last week, the company unveiled the Mate 30 series in India. Now, they are working on a new phone that supports 5G connectivity, called Honor V30 5G.


Well, this isn’t the first time we are hearing about Honor V30 5G phone but this time the information is sort of official.

The post om Weibo by Huawei Fan Club has officially confirmed that the company is currently testing the 5G technology.

The leaked image also reveals the phone’s display is surrounded by ultra-thin bezels. The device will be coming with pill-shaped punch-hole housing the dual front-facing cameras at the top-left corner.

There isn’t much information about the any other specs as of now but it is expected to be coming with the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset along with the latest Android 10 OS.

The Honor V30 5G is said to launch with AMOLED display with support for 90Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The other specs will include a Android OS 10, 8GB RAM. Optics should be round-shaped camera module on the rear with four cameras and LED flash.

Earlier this month, George Zhao, President of Honor also confirmed that the upcoming Honor V30 5G will be fuelled by Kirin 990 5G SoC and it will carry support for 5G connectivity. The device is expected to launch in the international markets as Honor Vera30.
