Honor X10 Max 5G appears on Geekbench ahead of launch

Huawei will be holding a launch event in China on July 2 to announce the Honor X10 Max 5G smartphone. Now, the Honor X10 Max 5G has been spotted on the benchmarking platform, Geekbench, revealing key details of its internal hardware.

The Honor X10 Max 5G has appeared with the KKG-AN00 model number on Geekbench. As per the listing, the device will be using the MediaTek octa-core processor that has a base frequency of 2.00GHz. The processor name mentioned on the Geekbench is MT6873 which belongs to the Dimensity 800 5G SoC.Honor X10 Max Geekbench

The listing also reveals that the handset will run Android 10 OS out of the box. The listing suggests a 8GB RAM configuration. We can expect the company to introduce multiple RAM and storage variants. The listing, with an upload date of June 27, reveals that the handset has received a single-core score of 539 and a multi-core score of 2,186.

No further detail has been revealed on the benchmarking site listing. However, some leaks in the past have suggested that the company could equip the Honor X10 Max 5G with 7.09-inch IPS LCD panel with waterdrop notch. The screen will have a RGBW technology for better brightness under bright sunlight. It has a side-facing fingerprint reader.

The phone will reportedly be powered by a minimum rated battery of 4,900mAh capacity. It is said to arrive with support for 22.5W fast charging. The rear-side of the phone is tipped to have a 48-megapixel and a 2-megapixel dual camera setup. Upfront, the phone might feature a 8-megapixel sensor. The device measures 176.46 x 84.91 x 8.3mm and it weighs 227 grams.
