Huawei Nova 8 Pro, the upcoming smartphone from Huawei‘s unannounced Nova 8 lineup, has leaked out on the internet. Details about the device have already leaked out in the past, but this latest leak reveals the internals of the handset. The Huawei Nova 8 series is set to launch in China on December 23. To begin with, the Huawei Nova 8 Pro now features a 6.72-inch OLED panel with curved edges. The display will have screen resolution of 2676 x 1236 pixels, a 10-bit color depth. This display will also come with a higher 120Hz refresh rate. It will measure 163.3 x 74.1 x 7.85mm and weighs 184 grams.
The Huawei Nova 8 will be equipped with a 6.5-inch OLED screen with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint reader. The Nova 8 has 160 x 74.1 x 7.64mm dimensions and it weighs 169 grams.
Talking about the other internals, the upcoming Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro smartphones will be equipped with an in-house Kirin 985 chipset, 8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB internal storage. The Nova 8 is tipped to be powered by the 3,700mAh rated battery while the Pro gets a bigger 3,900mAh rated battery.
Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro are expected to arrive with quad cameras out of which three will be placed on its rear panel. The quad-camera setup is expected to include 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Upfront, it will feature a pill-shaped cutout at the top-left corner of the display that features a 32-megapixel main selfie camera and a 16-megapixel secondary lens.
