Huawei Will Announce the Nova 5T on August 25

Huawei is all set for the launch of its fifth smartphone in the Nova series, the Huawei Nova 5T. After several reports and leaks, the Chinese brand has announced August 25 as the launch date of the next Huawei Nova 5 series phone. Huawei has posted a teaser confirming the date and location of the launch event. The event is scheduled for August 25 at 10:30 AM at the Pavilion Centre Court in Malaysia.

There is not a whole lot of information revealed by the invite poster. However, the device was recently found listed on Google’s Android Enterprise website. According to the images on the Android Enterprise website, Huawei Nova 5T will feature a punch-hole camera. Upfront, the phone has minimal bezels around the corner. The right side of the handset is likely to sport volume controls and power on/off button.

According to Google’s Android Enterprise listing, the Huawei Nova 5T has a 5.5-inch display with Full HD+ resolution, 8GB of RAM, 128GB/256GB of storage, Android Pie, and NFC. On the front, it will come equipped with a hole-punch display for selfies. Other specifications include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, zero-touch support, NFC support and telephony support.

However, according to the popular leakster Roland Quandt, upcoming Huawei Nova 5T will be a rebranded version of the already launched Honor 20 and will come with the same 6.26-inch display and not 5.5-inch.
