Infinix to Launch Pop-up Selfie Camera Smartphone Under Rs. 10,000 in India

An earlier report revealed that the Hong Kong-based smartphone maker Infinix is launching a new smartphone in India very soon with a pop-up selfie camera. It will be the company’s first phone with a pop-up selfie mechanism. Now, as per the new report from 91Mobiles, the phone will be priced under Rs. 10,000 in India. If the report is to be believed, then the upcoming Infinix phone will be the cheapest smartphone ever in India with the pop-up selfie camera feature.

Another Hong Kong company, Tecno is also launching a pop-up selfie camera smartphone in India. Based on the previous report from TheMobileIndian, the Infinix pop-up camera device will be releasing in India in February month. It is likely to pack MediaTek SoC.

To recall, the company recently unveiled the Infinix S5 Lite in India for just Rs. 7,999 and it is available in three colors. Infinix S5 Lite features a 6.6-inch punch-hole display with20:9 aspect ratio and over 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Under the hood, you get a MediaTek Helio P22 SOC paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The storage is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and supports face unlock as well. It runs on Android 9 Pie-based XOS 5.5 skin. The special feature of the phone includes AI 3D Face Beauty mode.

For photography, the triple rear cameras on the rear include a 16-megapixel main sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portrait shots, and a low-light sensor. The setup is also aided by the quad flash for better pictures. Upfront, it has a 16-megapixel shooter.
