Lava Z2s debuts in India for Rs 7,099

The Lava Z2s smartphone has been launched in India. The key highlights of the phone are an HD+ display, a 5000mAh battery, Gorilla Glass 3, and an Helio processor. The Lava Z2s is the third smartphone in the Z2 series. Earlier this year, Lava launched its first Z2 smartphone in India.

Lava Z2s Price in India, Availability

The  Lava Z2s is originally priced at Rs 7,999. At an introductory price of Rs 7,099, the smartphone is currently available on e-commerce sites like Flipkart, Amazon, Lava’s e-store, and 100k+ offline stores across the country. 

Lava Z2s Specifications 

Lava Z2s features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels, a 2.5D curved screen with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and a 20.9 aspect ratio. A MediaTek Helio octa-core SoC is powering the smartphone, however, the exact model is not known. In addition to 2GB of RAM, the phone also comes with 32GB of internal storage. Moreover, it can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 256 GB).

On the back, there’s a single 8-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens. There is a 5-megapixel selfie and video chat camera on the front of the phone with an f/2.2 lens. You can record videos with a resolution up to 1080p using the back camera.

The battery of the smartphone is 5,000mAh. The phone weighs 190 grams and measures 164.5 x 75.8 x 9.0 mm. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging. It ships with the Android 11 Go version out of the box.

Lava Z2 Max, which was launched in May, is fuelled by MediaTek Helio G35. It was launched in India for a price tag of Rs 7,799 and comes in a single variant with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It is offered in a Stroked Blue and Stroked Cyan colour variants, both of which have a pattern on the back.
