Lenovo Z5 128GB Aurora Colour Variant Launched in China

Lenovo announced Z5 last month. But the company said that the Z5 will be available in three colors – black, indigo blue and Aurora. However, the device was not available for sale in Aurora Color. Some Lenovo fans who waited for the Aurora color, disappointed as there is no official announcement on the release of Lenovo Z5 Aurora color variant. Now the wait is over. Lenovo Z5 128GB Aurora color variant will go on the first sale on 17th July.

The Lenovo Z5 has gone out of stock a number of times after it went on sale. All these sales have only come with two color options of the Z5 – Blue and Black. Now the Lenovo Z5 aurora color version is going for the first sale on 17th July. The new shade of Lenovo Z5 is akin to the Twilight color on the Huawei P20 Pro. Other than the look and color all the specifications of the Lenovo Z5 remain same, but the Aurora color variant boasts 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage while other variants have just 64 GB internal storage.

Lenovo Z5 Aurora: 6GB RAM And 128GB Storage

Lenovo Z5 has a 6.2-inch display with a 1080p resolution with 90% screen to body ratio. The device features dual 16-megapixel sensors on the rear with AI technology. On the front, Lenovo Z5 bears an 8-megapixel lens. Furthermore, the device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 and coupled with 6GB of RAM and the choice of either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. Lenovo has said that the Z5 will be upgraded to Android P. Currently it runs Lenovo’s ZUI 4.-0 custom skin based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Lenovo Z5 houses 3,300 mAh powerful battery and comes with USB Type-C charging port that has support for 18W fast charging. The Lenovo Z5 Aurora Color is available for the model having 6 GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Lenovo Z5 Aurora: Price

For the past week, the Lenovo Z5 Aurora was on preorder on the popular Chinese e-commerce site JD.com. The Lenovo Z5 Aurora variant was in Chinese site JD.com with the pricing of 1799 Yuan, Approximately Rs.18,500 for 6GB+128GB variant. Another variant of 64 GB priced at 1299 yuan, Around Rs.13,400. So, Lenovo could launch these variants in India with a price tag of more than Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 13,500.
