The South Korean giant LG has unveiled its premium smartphone in the LG Signature series. The latest smartphone is the successor to the Signature Edition model launched last year in Korea which is dubbed as LG Signature Edition 2018.
Coming to the highlights, It is made up of premium materials like zirconium ceramic back cover to prevent scratches. The company also allowing the customers to get their names engraved on the back panel of the device as its previous one.
Price and availability
The new smartphone comes in black and white colour options and will go on pre-order starting today (July 30). Being a limited edition model, only 300 phones will be made and the sale will debut on August 13.
The handset is priced in huge at 1,999,800 won (approx. Rs. 1,22,820) much expensive than the trending Apple iPhone X.It comes with with a free Bang & Olufsen (B & O) Beoplay H9i headphones.
LG Signature Edition 2018 specifications
The LG Signature Edition (2018) sports a 6-inch (2880 x 1440 pixels) QHD+ OLED display and 18:9 aspect ratio and protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The smartphone is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU coupled with a 6GB LPDDR4x RAM, 256GB storage, expandable memory up to 2TB with microSD. It runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) with LG UX.
Coming to the Optics department, The handset sports dual rear camera setup with two 16MP modules.A 16MP primary sensor with f/1.6 aperture and 71-degree wide-angle lens. The secondary sensor is also a 16MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture and 107-degree super-wide-angle lens and LED flash. For selfies, it has an 8MP selfie camera with f/1.9 aperture and 80-degree wide-angle lens.
The smartphone comes with DTS: X 3D Surround Sound and 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC. The device has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 3,300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and Wireless charging support.
In terms of connectivity, the handset offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and USB Type C.
