Moto G7 power to soon launch in India with an expected price Rs 14,500

The Moto G7 series launched earlier this week with four new models The new 7th-generation or the Moto G7 is official with devices including the G7 Plus, G7 Power, G7 Play and the G7 itself. However, Motorola once again disrupted the budget smartphone segment is not popular as once it was. The company managed to bring the devices a new design language that is mostly about shedding bezels to make the phones look like they belong in 2019.

As of now, the company didn’t make an official word about its availability in India. But a new report in courtesy by a Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom claims that at least the Moto G7 Power is coming to India very soon in a twitter handle. Along with this he also shared the details of the launch and price of the Moto G7 Power. however, the launch of the rest of the devices is still to be known.

Getting into the details, the Moto G7 Power will get an MRP of Rs 18,999 and will be available offline for Rs 14,500. It is said to be available only in ceramic black colour option in India.

At the launch event, Motorola did mention that Moto G7 series will roll out globally around mid-February, but it did not share any details regarding India launch. All the four variants are already up for sale in Brazil and Mexico. For pricing, according to the recent reports the device could come to India for Rs 14,500 (MRP Rs 18,999), is retailing in Brazil at $249 (approximately Rs 17,800).

Moto G7 Power key features

The major highlight of the G7 power is it is the company’s big battery smartphone with 5,000mAh battery. It is claimed to offer up to eight hours worth of battery life in just 15 minutes of charge. And  Motorola claims will deliver up to 3 days of battery life.

As far as specs considered, The device flaunts a 6.2-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) resolution display with a regular wide notch. At the heart, the device is armed by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz with 32GB of inbuilt storage and 3GB of RAM.

For the camera, Motorola has included a 12-megapixel single camera at the back, while the front packs an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The phone includes all the necessary connectivity options that a regular smartphone needs.
