Moto G9 Plus appears on US FCC database with 4,700mAh battery

Lenovo-owned Motorola seems to be working on a new phone, which could be the company’s another G9 series phone, as the Moto G9 Plus has been spotted on FCC for approval with model number XT2087-1.

The FCC listing reveals that the Moto G9 Plus will feature a 4,700mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. The device has charger model numbers as SC-301/ SC-302/ SC-303/ SC-305/ SC-306/ SC-307/ SC-309 (the last digit represents different regions). There is no other information available as of now, and we have to wait for a few more leaks to reveal some other specifications of the phone.

To recall, two phones with model numbers XT2087-1 and XT2087-2 were also mentioned in an EEC listing, last month. Moreover, the alleged Moto G9 Plus also listed on Spanish online retailer ParatuPC for EUR 277.15 (approx. Rs. 24,000) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant.

On these terms, the two model numbers spotted on the EEC listing could also be another variant of the phone. Yet, it’s hard to be certain at the moment. As we mentioned earlier, the leaked information does not mention any specifications details about the Moto G9 Plus.
