After the launch in Europe, Mexico and Brazil, the Lenovo-owned Motorola has unveiled the new Moto One Action smartphone in India today. This is the fourth smartphone from the company’s One series and it joins other smartphones from the same series: Motorola One Vision, Motorola One and Motorola One Power. The handset comes with a with 21:9 display and a GoPro style video camera. With this new phone, Motorola will compete with Xiaomi and Realme smartphones in the same price segment.
Motorola One Action Specifications
The Motorola One Action comes with a 6.3-inch LCD display and it has a punch-hole selfie camera. It offers an aspect ratio of 21:9 aspect ratio, a screen-to-body ratio of 84 per cent and it produces full HD+ resolution of 1080×2520 pixels. On the rear, it features a fingerprint sensor.
Powering the Motorola One Action is the 2.2 GHz Octa-Core Exynos 9609 processor by Samsung which is coupled with 4 GB and 128 GB of native storage. There is also a dedicated microSD card for expanding the storage up to 512GB. The handset packs a 3,500mAh battery that has support for 10W fast charging.
In terms of optics, the Motorola One Action features a triple camera on the rear combination of a 16-megapixel with 117-degree ultra-wide-angle lens along with a 12-megapixel primary sensor with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture and 2.0µm Quad Pixel technology and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The secondary sensor is a GoPro-style ultra-wide angle sensor with 117-degree FOV allowing video capture at 1080p resolution. For selfies, the punch-hole on the display houses a 12-megapixel camera.
Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio. The handset also has IPX2 certification for water and dust resistance, and a Dolby Audio supported speaker.
Motorola One Action Price in India and Availability
Talking about the price, the lone variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant is priced at Rs 13,999. The smartphone will go on sale starting August 30 via Flipkart in India. The phone will be available for buyers in three colours: blue, white and teal.
