An unannounced Nokia budget phone, called Nokia 2.3 with two variants featuring model numbers TA-1206 and TA-1214, has been spotted on a distributor database. It seems the model number TA-1206 is for the dual SIM variant while the TA-1214 is for the single SIM variant.
According to the report, the upcoming Nokia’s budget phone, the Nokia 2.3 will be available in three color options: Cyan Green, Charcoal and Sand.
Even though the specifications of the phone are not revealed on the distributors database, the appearance on the Bluetooth certification revealed that the Nokia 2.3 will be powered by the MediaTek processor and it will support Bluetooth 5.0. To recall, the predecessor, Nokia 2.2 was launched with the MediaTek Helio A22 processor, so this phone might feature the same SoC. Furthermore, based on listing the handset will run on Android 9 Pie operating system out-of-the-box as it is a Android One device.
The Nokia 2.3 is expected to arrive in 2GB RAM + 32GB storage and 3GB RAM + 64GB storage variants. Going by the previous reports, the upcoming Nokia 2.3 will feature a 6.1-inch HD+ display, 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. It is also expected to come equipped with a dedicated Google Assistant button.
