Nokia 7.2 Expected to be Unveiled on September 5; Pricing and Colour Variants Leaked

Nokia is heavily pegged to launch the Nokia 7.2, Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 2720 4G smartphones on September 5 through an unveil in IFA 2019 event in Berlin. Now, a new leak on the Nokia 7.2 has surfaced online. It has revealed that the pricing of the variants of the Nokia 7.2.

The new leak comes from the distributor database and it revealed that the Nokia 7.2 will have a model number TA-1196. According to the leaked report, the Nokia 7.2 will come with a retail price of $249 or $279. However, pricing is likely to differ globally. A recent hands-on image leak of the phone had shown a circular triple-camera setup by Zeiss on the rear. The camera module reminds the one seen on the Nokia Lumia 1020.

The latest leak also reveals that Nokia 7.2 will be available in three colors including Charcoal Black, Ice Blue, and Forest Green.

As we mentioned earlier, the company is likely to launch Nokia 7.2, Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 2720 4G smartphones on the same IFA 2019 event in Berlin. The Nokia event kicks off at 4:00 PM local time (7:30 PM IST) on September 5. Furthermore, the report also all three smartphones will go on sale in select countries after a few weeks.

Recently, the smartphone spotted on the Geekbench and it revealed that the device will be powered by the 1.84GHz Qualcomm octa-core processor paired with 6GB of RAM. Further, it will run Android 9 Pie out of the box. The device achieved 1604 score in single-core test and 5821 in multi-core score.

As per the earlier reports, Nokia 7.2 will sport a 6.18-inch full-HD+ display with HDR10 support, a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels and a U-shaped waterdrop notch. Under the hood, the handset will be fuelled by a Snapdragon 710 with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. It is said to be backed by the 3,500mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge support. In terms of optics, it is rumored to feature triple rear camera module inside a circular module consisting of a 48MP Zeiss Optics primary lens, a 120-degree wide-angle lens and an unknown third sensor with an LED flash.
