However, it doesn’t happen too. Now the company announced that Nokia 9 Pureview could launch in early 2019. This might be delayed due to camera issues.

Back to the details, The upcoming Nokia 9 phone could be the world’s first with five rear cameras, and it is expected to be HMD Global’s first phone to carry PureView branding, which was earlier seen on the original Nokia phones. The Nokia fans are waiting for a long time for this phone but the sad part is that the phone is the company facing issues in camera part due to which HMD Global delayed the launch event.

At the Germany launch event, Gerbracht was quoted using the ‘Nokia 9’ name on a few occasions, referring to it as an ‘upcoming flagship’ with a ‘delayed launch’. As per the WinFuture report, the company claimed to have experienced quality issues with the camera configuration, which would eliminate the chances of it being launched by the year-end.

The HMD Global is taking measures on the quality of their next flagship, and the company wasn’t happy with the camera performance of the smartphone. But actually, this is a good thing that company taking all the steps to ensure that Nokia 9 PureView ends up becoming a class-leading flagship smartphone. Where the firm taking extra time to ensure the flagship camera performance makes perfect sense, given that Nokia 9 PureView is expected to be an imaging powerhouse packing world’s first Penta-lens camera system at the back.
