Nokia 9 PureView Geekbench Listing Confirms Snapdragon 845

HMD Global is expected to be taking the wraps off its much-awaited Nokia 9 PureView next week at MWC 2019. However, as is the case with most launches, there have been a bunch of leaks and revelations ahead of the event. Now, the Nokia 9 PureView quietly paid a visit at Geekbench and confirmed a few details about the chipsets and other specifications.

In its Geekbench listing, the Nokia 9 PureView achieved a single-core test score of 2269 and 8793 in multi-core test. In addition to the test scores, the listing confirms that Nokia 9 PureView will be powered by Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and runs Android 9.0 Pie OS.

Most of the flagship phones launching this year will be fuelled by SD 855 SoC including Xiaomi’s Mi 9 and Samsung Galaxy S10 line-up. But, HMD Global is settled for the last year’s Snapdragon 845 in upcoming Nokia 9 PureView.

So far, the rumors surrounding the phone tip the Nokia 9 PureView to sport a 5.9-inch AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio and narrow bezels on the top and bottom. The phone could come with a 4150mAh battery with 18W fast charging. For now, we don’t have any info regarding the Penta-camera setup on the Nokia 9 PureView. But it is expected to come with ZEISS optics. Moreover, as per the rumors, Nokia 9 PureView can shoot up to 64-megapixel resolution photos since it features a pair of 12-megapixel sensors, a pair of 16-megapixel sensors and an 8-megapixel sensor. According to few reports, the Penta camera setup on the Nokia 9 PureView will include features such as five simultaneous shots, 10 times more light capture, an incredible amount of details, Refocus in Google Photos and more. Reports also claim that the Nokia 9 PureView might be the first Nokia phone to support wireless charging.
