Nokia G50 spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 480 SoC

A few days ago, Nokia G50 appeared on the TENAA certification site, and now, the device has been spotted on the Geekbench listing. The listing on Geekbench reveals some key specs of the upcoming smartphone.

Geekbench listing indicates the Nokia G50 ships with the Android 11 operating system out of the box. This device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC. If you are not familiar with it, it is a 5G chipset. Thus, Nokia G50 is likely to be the cheapest 5G phone from Nokia.

The processor has a base frequency of 1.80GHz and comes with 4GB of RAM plus 64GB internal storage. There is no word on whether there will be a microSD card included in the smartphone. Interesting to note, TENAA listed the phone with multiple RAM and storage variants. There will be a 2GB/6GB/8GB of RAM variants and 64GB/128GB/256GB/ 512GB storage variants.

Recently the phone was listed online, revealing that it could cost 209 Pounds (approx. Rs 21,152) for the 4GB/64GB variant. Furthermore, the device has been listed in Australia in the Forest Black color variant. It is expected to have a 6.82-inch display that offers HD+ resolution. It is expected to come with a 48MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
