Nothing Phone (1) spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 778+ SoC, 8GB RAM

Ahead of Nothing‘s first smartphone launch, rumors about the highly anticipated smartphone are circulating. In a new leak, the phone’s chipset and RAM capacity were revealed. Nothing Phone (1) appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking website, revealing its key specifications.

Nothing Phone (1) has appeared on Geekbench. According to the listing, Nothing Phone (1) has a Snapdragon 778+ processor. The chipset of the phone is labeled as the “Lahaina” codename and features a maximum clock speed of 2.52GHz.

In the listing, Nothing Phone (1) has 8GB RAM and runs Android 12 OS out of the box. The phone will come with the NothingOS skin on top. On the Geekbench, the smartphone scored 797 points in a single-core test and 2800 points in a multi-core test.

Processor-wise, Phone (1) is a mid-range device. It is likely to cost the same as OnePlus Nord smartphones. Nothing Phone (1) will be announced on July 12 in an event called “Return to instinct”. The phone is expected to come in a single white color and will probably cost under $380.
