OnePlus 7 New Renders Reveal Updated Design: Dual Rear Cameras, No Pop-up Camera and More

| By DWR Editor

We have seen several renders and concept videos of the upcoming flagship OnePlus 7 that imagine what the final product will look like. Now, a new render has emerged online that reveals updated design language of the OnePlus 7.

New renders have now become available of OnePlus 7 and once again confirm that this will be a device that on the surface, looks almost similar to the previous render. But surprisingly there is no pop-up selfie camera! The renders showcase the front of the phone and do highlight that the front panel will include waterdrop notch similar to OnePlus 6T.

The OnePlus 7 will reportedly feature a dual-rear camera, as seen in the renders and you will see the speaker grills at the bottom speakers and the USB type C port. Surprisingly, previous renders shown the triple camera setup on the rear of the device and now, in the new render, it is replaced by dual camera setup. The right will house volume controls along with the power on/off button. Unsurprisingly, the company has skipped the fingerprint sensor for the in-display fingerprint sensor.

New OnePlus 7 Renders

Earlier, it was reported that Chinese giant OnePlus is hosting an event on 14th May to unveil the OnePlus 7 along with the OnePlus 7 Pro, and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G smartphones. As per the reports, the standard OnePlus 7 has model numbers GM1901, GM1903, and GM1905, while the OnePlus 7 Pro variant will have model numbers GM1911, GM1913, GM1915, GM1917. While the 5G version will get a model number GM1920.

If the previous reports are to be believed, the OnePlus 7 would sport a bezel-less display. The device is confirmed to be powered by the Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 processor and will run on Android Pie. The OnePlus 7 is rumored to feature a 6.5-inch display. The seventh-generation OnePlus device will ship with a triple camera setup on the rear, along with an in-display fingerprint scanner.

While OnePlus 7 model follows the company’s previous OnePlus 6T design language, the OnePlus 7 Pro, and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G is expected to come with a new design as well as a pop-up selfie camera and triple-rear cameras.
