In a new interview with CNET, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau revealed that one of the devices out of OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro which is likely to be the OnePlus 7T will feature a 90Hz display refresh rate. The Pro variant, the OnePlus 7 Pro will also come with this feature.

Moreover, he confirmed that it will be cheaper than the OnePlus 7 Pro and it will also launch very soon. To recall, earlier launched OnePlus 7 did not have a 90Hz display refresh rate. The overwhelming positive feedback pushed us to bring 90Hz, which we believe will become standard on flagship phones, to our highly acclaimed premium lineup so that more people can experience the smooth scrolling display”.

Furthermore, he even hinted that the OnePlus 7T might be fuelled by the Qualcomm’s latest and powerful Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC. He said “We design OnePlus devices to achieve the best fast and smooth experience on the market. Implementing the best-in-industry Qualcomm 800 series processors is a major part of achieving this high-end performance.”

OnePlus is likely to introduce the phones in 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage options. Moreover, it is expected to be launched in frosted silver and haze blue color options. For photography, the OnePlus 7T will come equipped with a 48-megapixel main camera aided by a 16-megapixel secondary camera and a 12-megapixel tertiary camera.
