OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro Key Specs Revealed Ahead of Launch

One of the most anticipated releases in 2020 is the OnePlus 8 series smartphones. The OnePlus 8 series is expected to go official on April 15 and the internet has provided us with some details on the hardware of the upcoming OnePlus 8 series phones including OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 Lite. In the latest developments, some more details on the hardware of the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro have come to light courtesy Ishan Agarwal.

OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro Specifications Revealed

As per the leaked details, OnePlus 8 Pro will flaunt a 6.78-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED Fluid display with a screen refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, as expected the handset will be fuelled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G SoC paired with Adreno 650 GPU. There will be an 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB / 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage options on the phone. The phone will be available for buyers in Blue, Black and Green color variants.

As reported earlier, the device will have IP68 certification. Ticking all these is a 4,510mAh battery with 30W Wrap Charge 30T and it will be the first smartphone from the company to support 30W wireless fast charging and 3W reverse wireless charging.

In the camera department, there will be a 48-megapixel primary lens, a 48-megapixel secondary shooter, an 8-megapixel third lens and a 5-megapixel fourth lens on the OnePlus 8 Pro. For selfies and video calling, it will sport a 16-megapixel shooter. 

OnePlus 8, on the other hand, is reported to pack a 6.55-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a screen refresh rate of 90Hz. Powering the phone will be a Snapdragon 865 5G SoC coupled with Adreno 650 GPU. The device is tipped to feature 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM along with 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. 

For photography, the triple-camera setup of the phone is said to include a 48-megapixel primary lens, a 16-megapixel secondary shooter and a 2-megapixel third sensor. There will be a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies. The device will get a juice from a 4,300mAh battery that supports 30W Wrap Charge 30T fast charging support.
