OnePlus 8 Pro render and specs leaked ahead of launch

It’s no secret that OnePlus will reveal its new smartphones in late March or April month. As per the earlier reports, the new OnePlus 8 series will include OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro and the mid-range OnePlus 8 Lite. One of them starred in a new leak by thedroidleaks.

The render shows off the back and front panel of the forthcoming OnePlus 8 Pro as per which, the phone will feature a quad-camera setup where three cameras are aligned vertically while the fourth camera and LED placed alongside. 

There is OnePlus branding in the middle as well. The front panel will feature a punch-hole display. The render shows the OnePlus 8 Pro smartphone in green color.

As per the leaked specs, the OnePlus 8 Pro will have a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The camera details have not been revealed by the report. Furthermore, the report revealed that it will be powered by a Snapdragon 865 SoC processor. It will run Android 10 OS and it will come in 8GB of RAM with 128GB and 256GB storage. There will be a 4,500mAh battery which will support 50-W fast charging tech.

In a separate post, a Twitter user has posted an “About Phone” section of the OnePlus 8. As for the specifications of the cameras, it is expected to be a 48-megapixel + 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel. It will come equipped with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and will run Android 10-based OXygen OS.

Both the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro smartphones will arrive in a new green color option alongside the current Blue and Black colors. Moreover, OnePlus recently announced its 120Hz display technology and the OnePlus 8 Pro is more likely to feature this display.

Earlier, OnePlus has also joined the WPC or Wireless Power Consortium that hints that the OnePlus 8 series will support wireless charging.
