OnePlus 8 Spotted on Geekbench, Suggest 8GB RAM, Snapdragon 865 & More

OnePlus 8 has been spotted on the benchmarking site, Geekbench, that has revealed few specifications of the handset including processor, RAM and more. The phone appeared with model number GALILEI IN2025.

According to the listing, the OnePlus 8 secures 4,276 points in a single-core test and 12,541 in the multi-core test at Geekbench. The listing suggests that the phone is powered by a 1.80GHz Snapdragon 865 SoC, clubbed with 8GB of RAM. Note that the motherboard field shows  “kona” so it is assumed to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. The OnePlus 8 will be coming with the Android 10 operating system out of the box.

To recall, recently, a device believed to be the OnePlus 8 Pro with a codename GALILEI IN2023 has spotted on the Geekbench site. It also suggested 12GB of RAM and Android 10 OS on the phone.

OnePlus 8 Rumored Specifications 

According to the latest reports, the OnePlus 8 is speculated to arrive with a 6.4-inch and 6.7-inch S-AMOLED E3 curved dual punch-hole display that supports 120Hz refresh rate. As mentioned earlier, it will be fuelled by Snapdragon 865 SoC and X55 5G modem that brings support for 5G connectivity alongside the 8 GB/12 GB LPDDR5 RAM variants and USF 3.0 storage options such as 128 GB and 256 GB. Further, it is said to pack a 4,000mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support. 

The report suggests that the smartphone will arrive with an OIS and EIS enabled camera setup on the rear that comprise of an f/1.6 aperture 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 main lens, an f/2.2 aperture 20-megapixel ultrawide lens, an f/2.4 aperture 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x hybrid optical zoom support.
