The smartphone market in India is very competitive these days. Many smartphone companies are started to focus on the customer by offering great smartphones at affordable prices.

Amitabh Bachchan, the brand ambassador of OnePlus India, tweeted about his Galaxy S9 not working and asked for help.

A few weeks ago, Samsung caught promoting latest Galaxy A9 (2018) using an iPhone which results in them getting trolled. Now, a well-known actor in India complained about the problem with the Galaxy S9, which caused negative advertising.

Amitabh tweeted “HELP !! Samsung S9 not functioning .. Samsung logo is on the front screen, and is blinking again and again .. nothing else happens .. changed it .. let it be .. tried to close it does not close either ..
HELP … someone, please guide me as to what I should de ..”

However, Samsung quickly responded to the problems that Bachchan’s Galaxy S9 faced. This was confirmed by Bachchan on Twitter in a few hours. However, Manu Kumar Jain, global vice president of Xiaomi and general manager of Xiaomi India, had the opportunity to promote his company and offered company’s latest flagship phone Poco F1 to Amitabh Bachchan.

But, it is still unclear whether the Amitabh Bachchan would take up Manu Kumar Jain on his offer, he was being courted by another brand. Amitabh Bachchan’s tweet and Manu Kumar Jain’s response had drawn the attention of the rest of Twitter, who were chiming in with their suggestions.

This isn’t the first incident when Manu Kumar Jain has offered free Xiaomi phones. Recently, he offered a free Xiaomi phone to CommonFloor Co-Founder and Paytm Founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma when they complained about issues on their iPhone.

Amitabh Bachchan is the brand ambassador of OnePlus India. Obviously, revealing on social media that he uses a Samsung phone got himself trolled. But, it isn’t surprising to see being a brand ambassador of OnePlus, uses a Samsung smartphone as most of the celebrities promotes other brands just for money. However, posting information about the use of rival products may get the brand promoters in trouble.
