Oppo K1 launched in India with signature in-display fingerprint sensor at Rs 16,990

The much-awaited Oppo’s K1 smartphone is finally launched in India today with highly impressive features that in -display fingerprint sensor and Hyper boost tech for the immersive gaming experience. The smartphone will be available in Flipkart exclusive in India. To recall, This Oppo K1 was launched in its home country last year.

This is the first cheapest smartphone to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The other key selling points of the phone are it comes with a waterdrop notch display with a gradient colour design that gives ultimate premium look and armed by a powerful Snapdragon 600-series chipset.

Pricing and Availability:

The Oppo K1 has launched in India at a price Rs 16,990 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage and single storage variant is available now. The phone will go up for sale that starts on February 12 with two colour variants namely Piano Black and Astral Blue.

As a launch offer, The company offering a 90 per cent buyback value of up to Rs 15,300 for a period of 8 months. Customers can also avail an additional bank discount of Rs 1,690 for up to 8 months.

The Oppo K1 is much alike as Oppo F9 Pro with an edge to edge display with a waterdrop notch and metal –glass finish.On Display, The device flaunts a 6.4-inch FHD+ (1080×2340) AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, the company claims the device offers a 90 per cent screen-to-body ratio and Gorilla Glass 5 on top.

The major highlight of the smartphone is all about its n-display fingerprint sensor at an affordable price. This the only phone to offer this feature at such price segment. The device is armed octa-core Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM, at the heart. The device offered by 64GB of inbuilt storage with support for expandability up to 256GB via a microSD card. To make sure the phone ticks all day it is powered by a 3,600mAh battery with support for 10W charging over micro-USB port.

On imaging duties, There is a dual rear camera setup that includes a 16MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 2MP secondary sensor for depth sensing. On the front, the Oppo K1 gets a typical 25MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The smartphone runs Google’s Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with the company’s own ColorOS 5.2 skin on top. The phone includes all possible connective options that a smartphone needs.
