A few days ago Amazon India teased an Oppo K Series smartphone showing some specifications. It is now confirmed as Oppo K3 as expected. It is also confirmed that Oppo K3 will be launched in India on July 19.
As we already know that Oppo has gone a good offline network in sales but to make its online presence strong, the company is now partnered with Amazon India for the launch of this smartphone. Oppo K3 is already listed on Amazon confirming the launch date and specifications.
Oppo K3 is the upgraded version of Oppo K1 which was launched earlier. Oppo K3 was first launched in China in May. You can find the information about the specifications and price below.
Oppo K3 is featured with a 6.5-inch Full-Screen AMOLED display with 1080×2340 pixel resolution and 19.5: 9 aspect ratio. This phone is also equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor with a 28.5% faster-unlocking speed and comes protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
In the photography department, Oppo K3 sports a dual camera setup on the back comprising of 16MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera. For selfies, it has a 16MP pop-up camera on the front. The camera setup also comes with features like Ultra Night Mode 2.0, Built-in Image Stabilization, Night-scene Noise Reduction, AI beautification and many more.
Oppo K3 is powered by a Snapdragon 710 processor and comes with RAM up to 8GB and 128GB of internal storage. The internal storage can also be further enhanced using a microSD card. It is housed with a 3765mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 support which decreases the charging time by 25%.
This phone runs Color OS 6 based on Android 9 Pie OS. In China, Oppo K3 was made available in Nebula Purple, Green and White respectively. It is still unclear in which colour options Oppo K3 will be launched in India.

In China, Oppo K3 was launched in three variants with 6GB RAM/64GB storage, 8GB RAM/128GB storage and 8GB RAM/256GB storage respectively. The base variant is priced at RMB 1,599 [Rs.16,100 Approx], the 8GB RAM/128GB variant is priced at RMB 1,899 [Rs.19,130 Approx] and last variant with 8GB RAM/256GB storage comes for RMB 2,299 [Rs.23,160 Approx.] The prices for the Indian market slightly vary and based on the Amazon India listing, the 8GB RAM /256GB may not be launched in India
