Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G, Reno 3 Storage and Color Options Revealed Ahead of Launch

One smartphone series that has been gaining a lot of traction in the rumor mill is the OPPO Reno 3. The Reno 3 Pro 5G and Reno 3 are set to make debut in China on December 26 and the phones have leaked several times on the internet. Now more details have surfaced regarding its storage capacities and color options.

The latest rumor states that the Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G will be offered in two storage variants at the time of its launch in China. The two variants will reportedly include the base 8GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage and 12GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage. On the other hand, Oppo Reno 3 will be available with 8GB RAM + 128GB variant and 12GB RAM + 128GB of internal storage. As for color options, both the smartphone will be available in Moonlight White, Moonlight Black, Blue Starry Night and Sunrise Impression color options. However, the details about their pricing for China are not known at the moment.

Furthermore, the report revealed that both Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro smartphones will be available in 5G and standard variants. Oppo Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro will be the company’s first dual-mode 5G smartphone which will work on both SA (standalone) and NSA (non-standalone) 5G networks. The Reno 3 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC. Furthermore, it is also confirmed to sport an enhanced version of the VOOC 4.0 fast charge, and the company claims that it can be charged 50% in 20 minutes.

Oppo Reno 3 will be powered by the upcoming MediaTek 1000L 5G chipset and it will feature a non-curved dew-drop notch display, unlike the Pro variant which will come with punch-hole cameras. Even though both the models will pack a quad-camera setup at the back, the primary sensor will be a 48MP or Samsung’s 64MP sensor on the Reno 3, whereas the Pro model will feature a Sony IMX686 64MP primary sensor.
