POCO F4 Indian variant allegedly spotted on IMEI database, launch soon?

The latest leak revealed that the POCO F4 Indian variant was found in the GSM Association’s IMEI database. According to speculation, the POCO phone will be a rebranded Redmi K40S.

Twitter user Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings), discovered a POCO F4 Indian variant listing on the IMEI database. Even though the database does not directly state the device’s name, it does carry the model number 220212111RI, an indication that it might be the POCO F4.

The model number includes an ‘I’, indicating that the handset is intended for the Indian market. Poco F4 is likely to arrive in India in the near future.

POCO F4 Specifications (Expected)

The POCO F4 is expected to boast a 6.3-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset is expected to feature a triple camera setup on the back, which includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP tele-macro sensor. This device will have a 32MP camera on the front.

Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, the same one that powered its predecessor POCO F3. It will be coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

It will run MIUI 13 which is based on Android 12. The device is likely to be powered by a 4,5000mAh battery, capable of charging at 67W.
