Realme 5s Visits Geekbench Ahead of Launch; Snapdragon 665 SoC, 4GB RAM Confirmed

Realme 5s, the successor to earlier Realme 5 will be launching in India on November 20. The company has already started teasing the launch of the smartphone. Ahead of the official announcement, the smartphone has appeared on Geekbench listing revealing few specs which are inline with earlier leaked specs.

As per the Geekbench listing, the Realme 5s will be powered by 1.8GHz octa-core processor codenamed trinket is the Snapdragon 665 processor. The phone will have 4GB RAM. In terms of software, the Geekbench listing confirms the Realme 5s will be running on Android 9 Pie out of the box.

The device achieved 314 points in the single-core test and 1368 points in the multi-core test.

However, the Geekbench listing doesn’t reveal other details of the Realme 5s. The company already revealed highlighting features of the phone on the Flipkart listing. According to the listing, the upcoming Realme 5s will feature a large 6.51-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch. It will pack a 5000mAh battery. In terms of optics, the rear of the phone will have a 48-megapixel primary sensor on the quad camera setup. The Realme 5s will come in a new red color variant which the company calls Crystal Red. It will also be available in Crystal Blue and Crystal Purple just like the previously launched Realme 5.

The report also reveals that the Realme 5s will be priced under Rs. 10,000 in India. Some reports mentioned price tag of the Realme 5s is Rs. 8,999 for the base variant with 3GB RAM.
