Realme 6i is coming soon as it gets certified by SIRIM

Oppo’s spin-off brand Realme launched Realme 5i in India last week and now it has been revealed that the company is already working on the successor of the Realme 5i. The Realme 6i has been spotted on SIRIM, which is a good indicator that the smartphone will be officially unveiled in Malaysia very soon. As of now, Realme hasn’t revealed anything regarding the upcoming budget smartphone.

According to reliable sources, there is a new entry-level smartphone from Realme is listed on Malaysia’s SIRIM database with model number “RMX2040”. As per the listing on SIRIM, this upcoming Realme budget phone doesn’t support 5GHz Wi-Fi as it is just an entry-level smartphone. To recap, Realme RMX2040, RMX2020, RMX2030, and RMX2061 recently received the BIS certification in India.

Since the handset is already certified for the Malaysian market, you can expect Realme to offer the smartphone in Malaysia very soon. Moreover, the company is also expected to unveil this phone in other countries including India, Vietnam, and Singapore.

We still have no idea about the other hardware specifications of the Realme RMX2040. Even though the leak didn’t reveal the launch date of the Realme 6i, we expect the phone to hit the market sooner than one can imagine. Stay tuned to us for more details.
