Realme is gearing up to launch the successor of its Realme 7 series soon. The Realme 8 series is expected to come with two smartphones namely Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro. Yesterday, the brand unveiled the Realme Narzo 30 series in India that includes Realme Narzon 30 Pro 5G and Realme Narzo 30A smartphones.

What’s confirmed so far is that the Realme 8 series will be featuring a 108MP primary sensor on the rear. It is likely if either both the Realme 8 phones will be equipped with a 108MP camera, or just the top-end Realme 8 Pro.

All the details were first mentioned in a Twitter post by the Realme country head Madhav Sheth. While Madhav Seth explicitly doesn’t mention the series in his tweet, the hashtag #InfiniteLeapWith8 with a cryptic image of 108, hinting at the 108MP sensor. The tweet also reads “Do you guys know what 108 stands for?” and the teaser image has a mention of number 108.

Further, his tweet confirms that more details will be revealed tomorrow. So, we can expect the brand to share more details about the Realme 8 series in the coming days.

Previously, the Realme 8 was spotted on benchmarking site Geekbench with the model number RMX3092. The listing also revealed that the handset will pack MediaTek Dimensity 720 octa-core processor, 8GB of RAM, and Android 11 OS out of the box. It is tipped to come with a battery that supports 65W fast charging.
