Realme C2 Launched for Rs. 5,999 – Specifications and Price

RealMe today unveiled their new C-series phone in India, the RealMe C2, which has been priced at Rs.5,999. The smartphone is the successor to the RealMe C1, but the major change is the tiny waterdrop notch on the front, or as RealMe calls it, the dewdrop display.

Realme C2 Specifications

RealMe C2 packs a large 6.1-inch HD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. With its price tag, the phone falls in the budget category and will be available in two colors: Diamond Blue, and Diamond Black. Besides the 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage, which is expandable via microSD card, the RealMe C2 is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz and is backed by a massive 4000mAh battery. On the software front, the phone runs ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 Pie.

The smartphone also features a dual camera setup on the rear panel. There is a primary sensor of 13 megapixels along with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor for depth sensing. The camera features include Bokeh Mode, AI Beautification, HDR, Chroma Boost. The 5MP front camera comes with AI features for selfies and video calls.

The connectivity features on the RealMe C2 include Dual SIM, Dual 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and micro USB port.

Realme C2 Price in India and Availability

RealMe C2 is currently priced at Rs. 5,999 for the 2 GB RAM + 32 GB storage variant and Rs. 7,999 for the 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage variant. As we mentioned earlier, it will be available in two color variants – Diamond Blue, and Diamond Black. The phone will be available starting May 15. The RealMe C2 is an online exclusive smartphone and can be purchased via Flipkart and Realme India official site. The company is likely to sell the smartphone later via Offline stores.
