Realme has already announced its GT 2 series in the market, but now Realme’s President has confirmed the launch of the Realme GT 2 Explorer Master Edition in July. Ahead of the launch, the device appeared on GeekBench, revealing a few of its specifications.

The brand’s President of Global Marketing, Xu Qi, replied to a user’s question by saying that Realme is set to launch a new smartphone in July 2022. According to the recent appearance on GeekBench, this may be the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition.

The device was spotted on the benchmarking site with the model number RMX3551. If it launches, it would be the third phone in the Realme GT 2 series.

According to GeekBench, the smartphone achieved 1296 points on single-core tests and 4211 on multi-core tests. As indicated by the benchmark, the device runs Android 12 OS out of the box. The motherboard section mentions the codename “taro,” possibly the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC announced recently by Qualcomm. According to previous reports, the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition features a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and has a large 5,000mAh battery that supports up to 100W fast charging as well.
