Redmi Air Dots S TWS earbuds with 12 hours battery life launched; Check features, price

Xiaomi’s spin-off brand Redmi has unveiled the Redmi Air Dots S true wireless earbuds in home country China. In an event yesterday, the brand has unveiled the successor of the Redmi Air Dots. In terms of design, nothing new on the Redmi Air Dots S. It looks identical to the predecessor. However, the brand has made some minor improvements in the performance and features.

Redmi Air Dots S comes with support for new mono sound output. It will split the two earbuds as separate receivers. This is a feature that can found in the expensive models. The brand claims to offer improved sound transmission rates on the new earbuds. Still, the new model also relies on the Bluetooth 5.0. There is also a low-latency game mode feature on the Redmi Air Dots S.

Similar to the Redmi Air Dots, the all-new Redmi Air Dots S also comes equipped with a 7.2mm driver and DSP noise-canceling. It has support for touch controls for music playback and activating voice assistants The brand claims that new earbuds will deliver 4 hours on a single charge and the case can extend it to 12 hours. It is IPX4 rated which means the new Redmi AIr Dots S is splash resistant. 

The new Redmi Air Dots S is priced at RMB 99 (approx. Rs 1,070) in China and the company likely to announce the product in other markets too in the coming days.
