Redmi Note 10 series key features teased; punch-hole display, IP52 water resistance, and more

After weeks of leaks and rumors, Xiaomi has finally gone ahead and confirmed the launch date of the Redmi Note 10 series. The phone maker is expected to launch four new devices as part of the lineup– the Redmi Note 10 4G, Redmi Note 10 5G, Redmi Note 10 Pro 4G, and Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G.

The company has now updated the Mi event site, revealing the key features of the upcoming smartphones. Alongside providing the launch details the listing discloses some main highlights of the smartphones including the fact that it could come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset that is claimed to have been “built for gaming”, a glass build, Hi-Res audio certification, and more.

The official listing by the company suggests the Redmi Note 10 lineup will indeed launch with a quad-camera setup aligned vertically on the rear. The phone will have curved edges at the back. The image shows a center-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera and slim bezels. 

The company is further said to launch the series smartphones with beefy battery, faster-charging support, IP52 rating for water and dust protection, and Hi-Res audio. The phones are also said to offer better haptic and Corning Gorilla Glass layer on the front. The phone features a  volume rocker and power button on the right edge.

Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro Specifications (Expected)

To start with Redmi Note 10, the phone will feature a 120Hz LCD display. Furthermore, it will pack a 5,050mAh battery with fast charging support.

Redmi Note 10 can also be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor. It might feature 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the handset might feature a quad-camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor. Moreover, the smartphone is likely to ship with Android 11 OS, skinned with an MIUI 12 custom layer out of the box. 

According to the reports, Redmi Note 10 Pro is expected to come with an AMOLED display with a high refresh rate. This device is likely to feature a quad rear camera module consisting of a 108MP primary sensor.

The smartphone is likely to launch in 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB configurations and might run on an Android 11 based MIUI 12 operating system.
