Xiaomi through the Weibo released a teaser that confirms the presence of a 4,500mAh battery on the Redmi Note 8 Pro. There is also a hint at support for gaming Earlier, Redmi’s General Manager Lu Weibing suggested that upcoming Redmi Note 8 series will have a bigger battery.

A live image of the alleged Redmi Note 8 Pro appeared showing the rear panel. The smartphone is confirmed to launch in green, white and ash color options in China. Xiaomi has also revealed that it will use Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor. This is a new 64-megapixel sensor with a large sensor size of 1/1.72-inch.

Based on the previous report, upcoming Helio G90T SoC powered Redmi Note 8 series is claimed to have surpassed the AnTuTu benchmark results of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710. However, the SoC falls short of matching Huawei Kirin 810 SoC. Precisely, the teaser showed that on AnTuTu Benchmark, the Kirin 710 received overall scores of 301,419, while the Helio G90T comes at second spot with 283,333 scores and Snapdragon 710 comes the last with214,739 scores. This benchmark score confirms the MediaTek Helio G90T is much powerful than the Snapdragon 710 that powers the Redmi Note 7 Pro and Realme 3 Pro.

As per the reports, upcoming Redmi Note 8 Pro will feature a 64-megapixel camera sensor, a full-screen display with a waterdrop notch, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
