Recently, Xiaomi unveiled the RedmiBook 13 Ryzen Edition, RedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition, and RedmiBook 16 Ryzen Edition laptops in home-country China. Xiaomi has been teasing the arrival of Redmi laptops in India and now, according to the latest reports which claim Xiaomi will be announcing the RedmiBook 13 in the country on June 11.
While the company hasn’t confirmed the launch date of the laptop officially, a report by 91Mobiles in collaboration with popular tipster Ishan Agarwal claims that Xiaomi may bring its first laptop to India on June 11.
Further, according to the report, the laptop will be a rebranded RedmiBook 13 and it is said to be fuelled by up to an Intel Core i7 processor. It is tipped to come with a bezel-less screen with support for 1C charging. The report also claims that the Xiaomi laptop launching in India could be the rebranded version of the December 2019 RedmiBook 13 and not the RedmiBook 13 unveiled recently in China that was powered by AMD Ryzen.
RedmiBook 13 Specifications
In China, the RedmiBook 13 was launched with a 13.3-inch full-HD anti-glare display that has an 89 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by 10th generation Intel Core processors coupled with the Nvidia GeForce MX250 GPU alongside 8GB of DDR4 RAM. The brand claims to offer 11 hours of battery life and it can charge the laptop 50 percent in just 35 minutes. The laptop also has a chiclet-style keyboard and supports DTS surround sound. Talking about the price, Xiaomi launched the RedmiBook 13 in the home-country at a starting price of CNY 4,199 (approx. Rs. 44,300).
