Samsung announces price cuts for Galaxy M01, Galaxy M11 smartphones in India

Samsung today announced price cuts for two of its phones in India. The smartphones that have received price cuts include the Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M01. The South Korean smartphone brand is currently working on the Galaxy F41 and it is set to launch in India on October 8.

From the new price to the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M01, here’s everything you need to know.

Starting with the Galaxy M11, the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant of the phone has received a price cut of Rs 500, bringing down its price to Rs 10,499 from Rs 10,999. The 4GB + 64GB variant of the phone received a price cut of Rs 1,000 and now it costs Rs 11,999.

Galaxy M01 has received a price cut of Rs. 1,000. This means the single 3GB/32GB variant, which was launched with a price tag of Rs. 8,999 is now selling for Rs. 7,999. Currently, the Galaxy M01 smartphone is available in three colour variants, including, Black, Blue and Red colour options while Samsung Galaxy M11 comes in Black, Violet and Blue colours.

The new price will be reflected in Samsung.com and Amazon. However, as of now, the price of the Galaxy M01 has not been updated on Amazon, which means you will need to buy it from Samsung.com if you are in a hurry.

Samsung Galaxy M01 Specifications

It sports a 5.71-inch HD+ Infinity-V display 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the it has a Snapdragon 439 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage, which is expandable up to 512GB. Backed by a 4,000mAh battery, it doesn’t support fast charging.

Talking about the camera department, the phone features a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.2 lens and a 2-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 lens. On the front, it has a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 lens.

Samsung Galaxy M11 Specifications

Samsung Galaxy M11 packs a 6.4-inch HD+ Infinity-O LCD display and has a screen resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels. It features a punch-hole at the top left corner of the display that houses a selfie camera of 8-megapixel (f.2.0). Under the hood, it gets a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 SoC paired with up to 4GB of RAM The 32GB/64Gb internal storage can be expanded via microSD up to 512GB.

In the camera department, the Galaxy M11 has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens that has a field-of-view (FoV) of 115 degrees and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The rear cameras support video recording of up to 1080p. As we mentioned earlier, it features an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

Ticking all these is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. Software-wise, it runs Android 10 OS with OneUI 2.0 skin. The Galaxy M11 also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
