Samsung has silently unveiled a new 5G smartphone, Galaxy A23 5G. This phone is expected to hit Indian shores very soon. There is no official launch date for Samsung’s new 5G smartphone in India yet.

Unfortunately, the brand has not revealed the price of the Galaxy A23 5G. There are four colour options available – Blue, Black, White, and Orange.

The back of the Galaxy A23 5G is made of polycarbonate. The Galaxy A23 5G sports a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and a water-drop notch at the top centre for the front camera. As far as the phone’s refresh rate is concerned, Samsung did not provide any details. 

Powered by an octa-core processor, Geekbench suggests a Snapdragon 695 SoC. It will be available in different markets with 4GB/ 6GB and 8GB of RAM, as well as up to 128GB of internal storage. With a MicroSD card, storage can be expanded up to 1TB.

A 5000 mAh battery powers the Galaxy A23 5G. There is no information on the fast charging capabilities of Samsung’s new phone. The device is expected to support up to 25W fast charging support. 

A quad-camera setup present on the back is said to include a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). There is also a 5MP ultrawide camera along with two 2MP sensors for depth and macro. The phone comes with an 8MP front camera. 

As for the software, it runs Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 out of the box. This device is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The handset weighs approx 197 grams and measures 165.4 x 76.9 x 8.4mm.
