Samsung Galaxy A51 5G Has Been Spotted On Geekbench

It has been reported that Samsung will soon launch a 5G variant of the Galaxy A51 smartphone. However, we might have to wait some more days for the official launch. Now, the device is spotted on the benchmarking site, GeekBench, revealing few internal details.

Powered by Exynos 980, the Samsung phone with model number SM-A516N believed to be the Galaxy A51, scored a respectable 679 points on the single-core test and 1848 on the multi-core test. The benchmark listing confirms 6GB of RAM will be featured and it will likely be accompanied 128GB of internal storage.

In addition to this hardware, the Galaxy A51 is also set to come pre-installed with Android 10 OS straight out of the box as part and it will run OneUI 2.0. While other specifications still remain unclear, it is expected to be revealed soon.

To recall, Samsung launched Galaxy A51 in India earlier this week and it is priced at Rs 23,999 for the sole 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. 

Samsung Galaxy A51 Specification

The Samsung Galaxy A51 has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a punch-hole on the front. The smartphone also has an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device gets juice from 2.3GHz Octa-Core Exynos 9611 SoC alongside Mali-G72 GPU. The processor is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The storage can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card. 

For optics, the Galaxy A51 has a 32-megapixel (f/2.2) front camera housed inside the punch-hole. It has a dual rear camera setup comprises of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/20 aperture, a 5-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.2 lens.

It runs on Android 10 OS-based One UI 2.0 and it is backed by a 4000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. Connectivity features on the phone include VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS and a USB Type-C port. The handset measures 158.5 x 73.6 x 7.9mm and weighs 172 grams.
