Samsung Galaxy A7 India launch set for September 25

Samsung Galaxy A7, the company’s first smartphone with triple camera unveiled on last week is heading to India soon. Samsung India has revealed about the new Galaxy A7 launch date in our country that is on September 25th. To recollect, the Samsung with a series of launches the Galaxy A8 Star, Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+ in India and is preparing to launch its most awaited device.

The company has posted a link to the Galaxy A7 on online retailer Flipkart, suggesting it will be the exclusive online seller of the Samsung’s first smartphone with three rear cameras. The microsite shows the thin-bezel display of the upcoming smartphone as well as its enhanced camera capabilities. The page also suggests the presence of AR Emoji. Moreover, the official Twitter account of Samsung Mobile India has confirmed the launch of the Galaxy A7 (2018) through multiple tweets that carry videos specifying the availability of Samsung’s Super Pixel technology, triple rear camera setup, Dolby Atmos audio, and Super AMOLED Infinity Display. The company is likely to announce the phone at the event it is holding in New Delhi at 12 pm tomorrow.

Samsung Galaxy A7 Specifications

The new Samsung Galaxy A7 specs are similar to the Galaxy A8+ (2018). It sports a 6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display and armed with an octa-core Exynos 7885 SoC, coupled with a 4/6GB of RAM, coming to memory configuration the device hooked up with 64/128GB storage options and support for microSD cards up to 512 GB.

On the duties of imaging, The Galaxy A7 camera has the Note 9’s Scene Optimizer feature built-in. The ultra-wide angle lens used on the Galaxy A7 (2017) has a 120-degree viewing angle which happens to be the same as the human eye. In addition to the regular 24-megapixel camera, the new A7 comes with an 8-megapixel wide-angle (120-degree) camera and a 5-megapixel depth sensor for Live Focus shots. At the front, it gets a 24-megapixel camera.

The handset is fuelled with a 3,300 mAh battery. The Galaxy A7 also comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button and support for Samsung Pay payments over NFC in select markets.

Pricing

The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) price in India and availability details are yet to be announced. As per previous launch details, the smartphone will reportedly come with a starting price of EUR 350 (roughly Rs. 30,000) in global markets.
