Samsung Galaxy A7 with triple cameras has been launched in South Korea. After a bunch of leks and speculations from past few weeks, it is finally launched its newest Galaxy A7(2018). It is the first phone from the company’s that bears a triple rear camera setup and a first mid-range device from the company with flagship-level features. The smartphone got its company’s traditional Infinity Display and the Triple rear camera lenses are vertically stacked and a 24-megapixel front-facing the camera.

Design and build

The smartphone comes with a glass and metal unibody design and comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on double click ca be the power button. This is the only other Galaxy smartphone to come with one apart from Galaxy J6+. The power and volume rockers are on the same side as well.

Display

The handset sports a 6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with a resolution of 1080×2220 pixels. The display design provides an immaculate image and video quality.

Processor

The handset is powered by unnamed octa-core SoC clocked at 2.2GHz.

Memory configuration

The handset is coupled with 4GB/ 6GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB of inbuilt storage. Storage on the handset is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB).

Camera

The  Galaxy A7 (2018) sports a triple camera setup at the back. This setup consists of a 24-megapixel autofocus sensor with f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra wide sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with a fixed focus and f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it comes with a single 24-megapixel selfie fixed focus camera sensor that has f/2.0 aperture, LED flash, Selfie Focus, and Pro Lighting Mode.

Battery and Software

There is a 3,300mAh battery under the hood. The handset runs on Android 8,0 Oreo out-of-the-box.

Pricing

The price of the Galaxy A7 is yet to be known. The company stated that the phone would be made available in select European and Asian markets starting this fall, with plans to expand to other international markets in the near future. The rumoured price of the gadget is around $400 (Rs 28,826 approx).

The Samsung Galaxy A7 is available four colour variants Blue, Black, Gold and Pink.
