Samsung Galaxy A90 First Look: Triple Camera, Popup Camera, In-display Fingerprint and More

Samsung is working on another A series smartphone, named as Galaxy A90, which is the most premium variant in the series. The company has now sent out press invites for the launch of the phone which is scheduled to take place on April 10 at an event in Bangkok, Milan, and Sao Paulo. The invite does not reveal much about the phone. It reads, “A Galaxy Event.”

While the company has remained tight-lipped on the Galaxy A90 but there have been speculations and rumors on the looks of the smartphone. Few reports suggest that the phone could sport a notch-less display while some hint that the in-display fingerprint sensor but no of the phone were leaked, until now. Possibly real images of the phone have been spotted this time on the AndroidPure giving us a sneak peak of what the Samsung Galaxy A90 smartphone could look like.

If the image shared is to be believed then the Galaxy A90 could come with a no-notch display. The leaked image reveals the front and back side of the phone. Triple camera setup is seen at the back of the phone arranged vertically along with LED flash is visible. There is no fingerprint sensor at the ear which confirms the presence of in-display fingerprint scanner. There have been rumors in the past that Samsung Galaxy A90 could place the fingerprint sensor beneath the display of the device. We can also see a slight cutout visible at the top of the rear panel confirm the existence of a pop-up camera.

As we mentioned earlier, Samsung has not specified the name(s) of the smartphones that will be launched on April 10th event, but the company has made it clear that more than one Galaxy A-series smartphone will be introduced. Considering several leaks and rumors, we expect the company to launch Galaxy A90 in the upcoming event.

Samsung Galaxy A90 Hardware Specification

There is no information on the complete hardware specifications of the Galaxy A90. The Galaxy A90 is could be powered by Snapdragon 7150, which is yet to be announced by Qualcomm. There have also been rumors that the Galaxy A90 could run Android 9.0 Pie with own One UI on top. You can also expect two storage variants of the Galaxy A90 – 6GB and 8GB model. The device is likely to sport around 3500mAh to 4,000mAh battery.
