In South Korea, Samsung introduced a smartphone dubbed Galaxy Buddy 2. It is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Buddy that made its debut last year. The newly launched Galaxy Buddy 2 smartphone appears to be a rebranded Galaxy M23 (or F23), which is available in other markets.

Galaxy Buddy 2 features a 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 750 chipset, up to 6GB of virtual RAM, and a 50-megapixel triple camera system.

Samsung’s Galaxy Buddy 2 is available in South Korea in a single 6GB/128GB variant for KRW 399,300 (approx Rs 24,100). It is available in three colors: Deep Green, Light Blue, and Orange Copper.

Galaxy Buddy 2 comes with a 6.6-inch full-HD+ Infinity-U Display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC, along with up to 6GB of RAM, up to 6GB of virtual RAM expansion, and 128GB of storage. The storage is further expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card slot.

It features a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1 primary sensor, along with an f/1.8 lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. The front of the phone has an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor for taking selfies and video chats.

There is a 5,000mAh battery inside the handset that supports 25W fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Furthermore, the device features Dolby Atmos support for enhanced audio playback.
