Samsung Galaxy M13 5G, M13 4G confirmed to launch in India on July 14

Samsung is launching two new Galaxy M-series smartphones in India. The South-Korean brand has confirmed the launch of the Galaxy M13 and the Galaxy M13 5G in India later this month.

Samsung has confirmed to launch the Galaxy M13 series will launch in India on July 14. Both phones will be sold through Amazon. In addition, some specifications and design details have been revealed for the Galaxy M13 and Galaxy M13 5G. 

In India, Samsung will launch two variants of the Galaxy M13, including a 5G variant and a 4G variant. A launch date for the devices has been set for July 14. The Amazon India microsite indicates that the Galaxy M13 4G and 5G include up to 12GB of RAM. 

The Galaxy M13 will feature triple cameras on the back. Currently, no details have been released about the camera sensor. Additionally, the device will come with a battery with a capacity of 6,000mAh with support for 15W fast charging. It is unclear whether Samsung will include a charger with the device.

On the other hand, the Galaxy M13 5G is expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery. In addition, it will support 15W fast charging. On the back of the phone, there will be a dual-camera setup. 

On both devices, the display will feature a water-drop notch. Samsung also confirmed that the Galaxy M-series 5G smartphone will support a total of 11 5G bands.

An earlier report indicated the 5G variant would use the Dimensity 700 SoC. There will be a 6.5-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution on the device. Moreover, the phone will have internal storage of 128GB and RAM of 6GB. The device is likely to include a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary camera on the rear. Additionally, the device will have a 5MP front camera.

The 4G variant is expected to feature a larger 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD, Exynos 850 SoC, 50MP + 5MP + 2MP camera setup and 8MP selfie shooter. Both devices will run Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 out of the box.
