We saw a series of rumors and leaks on the Samsung Galaxy M31, but now everything is official as Samsung India has unveiled the new Galaxy M31 smartphone.

The company is offering two storage options: the 6GB RAM with 64GB internal memory is priced at ₹14,999 and the 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage carries a price tag of ₹15,999. Available in two colors — Ocean Blue and Space Black — the smartphone will go live on sale on 5 March 12 PM (noon) on the official website.

Samsung Galaxy M31 has a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED panel that has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and 1080×2340 pixels screen resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9611 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of UFS 2.1 native storage. The storage is further expandable up to 512GB using a microSD card.
There are four cameras on the back – a 64-megapixel primary Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor along with an f/1.8 lens main unit is joined by an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens that comes with a field of view (FoV) of 123 degrees — alongside a 5-megapixel macro shooter that has an f/2.4 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
The rear camera features include Live Focus for an enhanced bokeh effect, dedicated night mode, super steady mode, and super slo-mo (using interpolation). The waterdrop notch on the front houses a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies. The front camera also supports 4K and slo-mo video recording.
The smartphone runs on the latest Android 10 OS with the One UI 2.0 skin on top. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The handset houses a massive 6000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging that is available through the bundled charger. Samsung claims to offer 26 hours of video playback or 119 hours of music playback on a single charge. At last, the device has 8.9mm of thickness and weighs 191 grams.
